We can't keep it a secret any longer!
It's a new project called Porn Ain't Pretty.com
It's a collection of original artwork that tells the story of Freedom Begins Here in a unique way. Here are a couple of samples:
Over the past few years we've received literally hundreds of emails, stories, and confessions from people who struggle with porn. But instead of letting those stories just sit in our inbox, we got really creative and decided to use art to bring the stories to life.
Kyle, our intern, and Natalie, our designer/photographer have come up with some amazing original artwork to tell your stories.
Why do this? We know there are a lot of you who want to get involved with this cause, but many of you don't know how. Post a link to the art on your Facebook page, email the art to a friend, or download it as a desktop background.
Want us to make art out of your story? This will be an ongoing project, and we are putting out a call for stories. So tell us yours on the stories page of our website.
We want to know what you think about this! Want to see more? Don't like it at all? Please respond by posting your thoughts on this blog entry.

I like the Octopus (sp)in full view. It is a little difficult to 'get it' in a small version.
The Good Father is fair. It is hard to read and follow, but that may be me and my generational shortcomings. It is hard to read some of the words as the font color is too soft. One thing that struck me is the statement "he is a good provider". This is an excuse a lot of sex addicts verbalize, " I have been a good provider for my family." My response is "Yes, that may be true, but you have been a terrible 'protector', which is more important than anything money could provide."
so....the wife could say, "He is a good father and provider, but a terrible protector of our home."

I think it's a great idea. You have a spelling error on the second one though. You spelt pornography as pronography.

Hmmm...
While the artwork is good I just keep thinking--"what's the point of it?" It does get people involved by being able to download it so I guess my biggest problem--
I am not really seeing how this uses the stories that you've gotten. Maybe more direct and more visible quotes??? Maybe you can get more people to come in and tell their stories on video?? I'm still getting used to the idea--bumper stickers with a logo that's easily recognized as anti-porn would be cool. B)

PS--maybe a logo that says "not everyone is doing it. FBH." Or one that's pro-relationships and anti-porn. To show we're not anti-porn because we want to spoil anyone's fun but because we want to offer people a better way--lives that aren't stained and trapped by porn. Yeah, good luck putting that in an image! But a picture is worth a thousand words. . .
